*6 - Mechanical*
Pipe Fitters that have SS welding experience. Usually the fitters will
assemble and dissemble with fastened flanges, however, the collars and
elbows routinely need to be reworked for site specific changes.
Millwrights that have experience in alignment of high speed rotating
equipment (GT specific engine - gen) and pumps. Guys familiar with bearing
inspections and bearing work. General mechanical duties will also include
people that have worked on the following: (key words are..) Intakes, filter
houses, FOD screens, IGV, Inlet Plenum, Co2 fire protection. Flushing
will be a big deal. Lube Oil, Hydraulics and Fuel systems and people that
have the experience doing it with aero's will help.
*6 - Instrument Technicians*
Tubing Fitters will be huge.
Guys with experience on the following gear (key words) -Field Calibration,
Thermal Couples or TC's, speed pickups, vibration sensors, RTE's & RTD's
(resistance temperature elements & detectors). Those are the turbine
specific instruments they need to be familiar with or will have on the CV.
The usual, transmitters, valve controls, flow meters, pressure switches,
relays and such but they need to be able to shoot loops and function check
the gear rapidly and efficiently. People that have experience with aero
GT's that run on both gas and liquid fuel would be a big plus

Responsibility
* · Overall leadership and direction of the Group.
· Overall financial control of the Group
· Take overall responsibility for Group activities.
· Take the lead in business and strategic development
of the Group.
· Manage staff resourcing including liaison
with other Group’s to ensure capacity is available and/or utilised efficiently and
effectively.
· Overall management of all Group staff. Employment
of new/additional staff or redeployment of existing staff.
· Management of overhead budget.
· Proactively manage the preparation and review
of Group proposals. Under the current Power
of Attorney, the approval of GO/NO GO and proposals for larger projects lies
with the Director Business Unit, Business Line Director or Board of
Management. Nevertheless your review
should be to such a level that you are able to recommend a course of action to
the DBU, BLD and/or BoM.
· Proactive Management of proposals and leads.
· Co-ordination of Group marketing activities both
within the Group, within the Division and Cross Divisionally.
· Business promotion/marketing activities, in
conjunction with other Group members and the Director Business Unit.
· Monthly project review with the responsible project
managers. This is to cover all active
projects and will include financial performance, debts (see below) and any
critical technical or project management issues. This is not intended to replace the formal
Project Reviews under the QMS.
· Regular review of Group debtors and support for
project managers in chasing debts.
· Quarterly Project Forecast Review with the project
leaders and project controller
· Preparation of the Group Annual budgets and
Business Plan.
· Take overall responsibility for HR staff
issues within the Group.
· Compliance of Group activities with the QHSE
procedures.
· Preparation of the monthly Group report and fee
forecast.
· Carry out annual competency reviews.
· Reviewing contracts and legal aspects of
projects.
· Monitoring Project Managers on financial / technical
delivery of projects and proposals.
Qualifications:
* Minimum Formal Education Level:
Minimum Bachelor Degree from reputable well-established University local or overseas, majoring in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering preferably with Master Degree in Business Administration or Project Management
